The Clinic Story
A neighbourhood practice that quietly became known beyond the neighbourhood.
Millennium Smile Dental Clinic opened in Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West in 2006. What started as a local practice serving families around Lokhandwala Market has, over nearly two decades, grown into a name quietly recognised inside Mumbai's film and television industry for smile makeovers and cosmetic dentistry.
Nothing about how we work changes based on who is in the chair. A Bollywood personality and a school kid from the next building get the same clinical attention, the same hygiene standard, and the same doctor across their visits. That has stayed true since day one.
The clinic is run as a family practice, led by Dr. Manish Sonawane and Dr. Ameya Sonawane, with a small, consistent team who patients know by name.
Meet Dr. Manish Sonawane
Specialist Orthodontist. First rank in MDS, Pune.
Dr. Manish Sonawane is a specialist orthodontist, BDS from Nashik University followed by an MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from Pune, where he secured the first rank. He began practicing in 2005 and later completed an International Lingual Orthodontics course as a super-specialisation.
Alongside his practice at Millennium Smile Dental Clinic, he consults as an orthodontist in Navi Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik, and teaches as faculty at MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, where he trains postgraduate and undergraduate dental students.
His published work covers two-phase orthodontic treatment, cleft lip and palate, implants in orthodontics, and the effect of fixed orthodontic therapy on bone and soft tissue. Clinically, he focuses on Smile Design and Invisible / Clear Braces, and is known within Mumbai's film and TV industry for smile makeover work.
Meet Dr. Ameya Sonawane
Cosmetic dentistry, done with a quieter hand.
Dr. Ameya Sonawane completed her BDS from MUHS Nashik and began practicing in 2011. Her work is anchored in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry, an area she has continued to build on through multiple national workshops.
At Millennium Smile Dental Clinic she runs the practice's instant smile design and single-sitting root canal treatment work. Patients often describe her chairside approach as calm and unhurried, especially through cosmetic cases where the smallest details decide whether a result looks natural or overdone.
She sees both first-time patients and long-standing regulars who have been coming to the clinic for years, and treats both the same way.
